Complete renovation of a 300 m² flat in the upper area of Barcelona, for a young couple with two small children. The slogan we were given was to achieve very large spaces.
Given that the flat already had a lot of light and the family was moving from another one with very light wood, we decided to opt for dark wood in the common areas and light wood in the bedrooms. We recovered architectural and original elements of the house, as an anecdote of the period in which the building was constructed, early 70s. Specifically, a window reveals the old tiled ceiling in the kitchen, a sign of the luxury of another era, and a pillar in raw concrete presides over the living-dining room.
