Renovation of a flat in the upper area of Barcelona with a timeless style and focused on the comfort of a family with three small children.
First of all we wanted to differentiate the day area from the night area. To do so, we converted the living room into two spaces: a more social space with a library, fireplace and sofas for gatherings, which can be transformed into a chaise longue for reading, and another space with dining and family room uses. This one is presided ¡by a wooden wall that serves as cupboards for crockery and glassware, leaving only the television visible. The entrance hall also becomes a functional space, separated from the living room by a mobile glass wall to receive natural light, and where we recovered an old wooden family desk to use it as an occasional study. The children's playroom in the night area also takes on special importance.
